Don't misunderstand. Like a 50 plus year old horror fan, I enjoy many of the previous elements before mentioning my experience of dread in practically any combination imaginable. Nevertheless for me, the sole thing that consistently hackles my flesh is really an unrelenting a feeling of dread. Otherwise I feel short changed after paying for the chance to be thoroughly frightened.
