The number one motocross bike is back with an industry first for MX bikes in 2015: an all-new engine mode select button that lets you choose between three settings. Thanks to the available HRC Fuel Injection Setting Tool, it's easy to adjust to specific track conditions and refine settings from standard to smooth or aggressive on the engine mode selector. And with Honda's accessory tuning tool, the fuel and ignition maps can be programmed to suit different riding needs. The 2015 edition features a new cylinder head with a redesigned exhaust port and a new shorter exhaust header, which now exits the right side of the engine. A larger exhaust muffler outlet matches the improved flow. Fuel injection and timing settings in the dirt bike have been readjusted and designed to match the new engine and exhaust changes to maximize top power and over rev. Theoff-road motorcyclealso packs on stronger transmission gears, a new piston, more flywheel mass, a new rear shock that's easier to adjust and a new 260mm front brake to reign in that speed with all the stopping power. For more adjustability, the CRF450R also adds a revolutionary KYB Air Fork with new high- speed/low-speed compression and rebound damping. The rider can now improve fine-tuning and adjustment to the fork for personalized suspension settings on a wider variety of conditions. To go with the front fork, the motocross bike features a new KYB shock design that allows riders to quickly change rebound adjustment with ease. Honda also designed the 2015 CRF450R with new wave style brake rotors and Dunlop MX52 tires for improved front and rear end traction. The off- road motorcycle also looks the part with fresh new CRF graphic design, a Renthal bar pad and a host of black-out accents.
