the kindergarten and elementary pupils The Kindergarten and Elementary Pupils of ThePrestige Private School Prestige School in Toronto Went to a Funfilled Travels OUR PRESCHOOL TO GRADE 2 PUPILS HAD FUN IN PUMPKINLAND! Our Kinders, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students, with their teachers, invested a day in Pumpkinland! And it was a lot of fun! On Wednesday, October 9th, at 9:30 AM, the pupils hopped on the school bus and went to Whittamore Farm. They took a tour of the farm throughout which they discovered regarding the way a farm is run and about the different works individuals have on it. Furthermore, the kids learned concerning just how living things grow, the various pets discovered on a ranch, and the byproducts that a few of them create. While on the farm, the children had their meal, had a good time having fun with each other, discovered the ranch, and appreciated their day. Before getting on the bus to go back to private school, each student picked a fruit to bring home. They were so fired up to display those fruits when they got back! KINDERGARTEN TO RATE 3 JOURNEY TO THE LEGOLAND Our primary grades pupils will be visiting the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre on Wednesday, December 4th to take part in a curriculumlinked academic program called Tall Towers. Youngsters will certainly leap right in and be a part of the 4D movie theater, learn top LEGO structure tricks from Design Builders, see wellknown Landmarks in MINILAND, and a lot more! GRADES 4 TO 8 JOURNEY TO THE HARBOURFRONT CENTRE Our pupils in grades 4 to 8 will be visiting Harbourfront Centre on Thursday, November 28th to take part in a directed trip called Advertising/Print Media. Pupils will be utilizing the computer lab to find out concerning the globe of advertising. They will be introduced to the "approaches of manipulation" made use of in advertising and will also check out the influence marketing has on our setting and culture. Students also will have an opportunity to develop their very own print advertisement. Our kids will then participate in one more guided trip called Lino Print.
