Description

The Best Diet for Food Lovers Being on a healthy diet is almost always the same as giving up one’s favorite food. To put it in a simpler context, one has to say goodbye to slices of pizzas, cakes, ice cream, steaks, or chicken meals in order to maintain a healthier figure. Some even try to forbid themselves from eating any form of carbohydrates! Being on a diet is much like saying goodbye to all the delicious food known to man and trying to feed oneself with carrot sticks, celery stalks, and other bland types of food! It is true that most “diets” would suggest that one give up or entirely stop eating certain types of food. However, while these diets are effective for some individuals, the glaring truth is that most dieters who follow such line of thought often go back to their “bad eating habits” after some time because they are craving for those delicious foods. The food is not the culprit here! First, one must know that one gains weight because the calories consumed are more than the calories burned throughout the day. In other words, to lose weight, one has to make sure that more calories are burned than consumed. Second, it must be established that the food one eats is not the problem here. The problem is the so-called portion control! Remember that a pound equivalent to around 3,500 calories. So whatever one eats, so long as it exceeds 3,500 a day, would mean that one would gain an additional one pound for that day alone.

So whatever one eats, so long as it exceeds 3,500 a day, would mean that one would gain an additional one pound for that day alone. Yes, one could spend the entire day eating bowls and bowls carrot sticks worth 3,500 calories and still gain one pound. On the other hand, someone else could try eating a normal breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus a slice of cake and still not gain a single pound because that person knows how to eat each portion of food in moderation. Ifyou love food, here’s the perfect diet for you!
The so-calledfood lovers diethas been gaining popularity at this point. Unlike any other diets, thefood lovers dietdoes not stop dieters from eating the food that they love, and this is the main selling point of this diet. Yes, someone who wants to lose weight need not eat bland foods all day! And because dieters are not prohibiting themselves from eating the food that they love, the act of binge eating or mindless eating is greatly lessened. Would this mean that one could still eat junk food all day and still lose weight? The answer is no. Although thefood lovers dietdoes not stop dieters from eating the food that they are craving for, it wouldn’t necessarily mean that followers of this diet would support the mindless eating habits of its dieters. It’s a common misconception that this diet would allow you to eat all day and still lose weight. So, how does thefood lovers dietwork? This kind of diet calls for three main things: aPracticing the so-called portion control - One main cause of weight gain is the fact that many individuals eat like they’re out of control. They eat slices and slices of pizzas without even bothering to know how much of it they should eat to maintain their current weight. Now, here comes the idea of portion control. It just means that one has to know the recommended serving size of each food type and consequently follow that recommendation. bLimiting the intake of processed food - In relation to the previous point, a dieter need not shy away from processed foods or convenience foods like chips, canned goods, candies and chocolates, and the like. Instead, one has to limit himself or herself from eating them. Again, it would not mean that one should totally shy away from these food types, but this just means that dieters should know their limits. If someone is used to eating three slices of cake, maybe he or she could try eating just a slice this time.
cEngaging in exercise - To create a calorie deficit, one either has to exercise and/or limit his or her food intake. Frequent exercises would burn calories and would rev up one’s metabolism. The faster the metabolism, the faster it would take to burn those unwanted or extra calories. Thefood lovers dietmight be the kind of diet that many people are looking for. What makes this diet better than all other diets is the fact that one could enjoy good food and still lose weight. That in itself must be a win-win situation for anyone. This food lovers diet is definitely worth a try!
