On the Momentous Occasion of its 60th Anniversary, the Mecca of Indian Art, Jehangir Art Gallery is all set to go Digital

MUMBAI,September 24, 2012/PRNewswire/ -- Nationally recognized centre of contemporary Indian art, Jehangir Art Gallery, has always been contemporary in thought as well; therefore it was just a matter of time before the gallery announced an online presence. We all agree that the Jehangir Art Gallery has rendered exemplary service to Indian art and culture over the last six decades. Over the years, Jehangir Art Gallery helped establish a platform for the works of innumerable artists, and has made art accessible not only to connoisseurs of art but also to the common man. The website is expected to be an online showcase of the exhibitions held at the gallery, thereby, giving the artist a global exposure all at once.
