Hygiene in the XVIII Century According to the Abbé Jacquin.
Citing large extracts from the treatise « On Health » (1st ed. 1762, 4th ed. 1771) by the Abbé A.-P. Jacquin (1721 to approx. 1790), the author attempts to show that the treatise was a precursor on the subject of life hygiene, of pediatric hygiene, of nutritional hygiene, of public and environmental health, and on the proper usage of medicine and treatment.

Indem er weite Auszüge des Traktats « Von der Gesundheit » (1. Ausgabe 1762, 4. Ausgabe 1771) von abbé A.-P. Jacquin (1721-um 1790) zitiert, nimmt sich der Verfasser vor zu zeigen wie dieser Leztere ein Vorbote war betreffs Lebenshygiene, Kindhygiene, Nahrungs- hygiene, öffentliche und Umwelthygiene, richtige Anwendung der Arzneimittel und der Behandlungen.
