God’s Object Lessons: God’s Prenatal Children

God uses easy to understand

every day objects

to teach us profound things

about Himself and His purposes.

In the beginning the work of Miracle You Ministries focused on prenatal children.

The

audience included medical, legislative, and judicial professionals, adults, youths and

children.

And as wonderful as all that was, there was something missing.

I prayed,

Father, what of eternal worth is all this?

Then the Lord brought me to His word in John 3:3 to mind.

Jesus said to Nicodemus,

“You must be born again.”

Then I heard in my spirit, “What are people who are not yet

born again?”

The answer, “They are unborn; unborn souls…unborn spiritual children, spiritual

children living through their spiritual prenatal development.”

Then the Lord brought me to His word in Romans 3:11, “…there is no one who

understands, no one who seeks God.”

Then how do we come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ?

Then the Lord brought His

word in John 14:6, Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one

comes to the Father except through me.”

And so I prayed, “Father, through what developmental processes do a prenatal spiritual

child go before they are born again?

The answer, prenatal spiritual children slowly come

to eternal life, just as physical prenatal children come into temporal physical life.

The

unborn spiritual child:

•

Develops a heart that vibrates to the sound of Jesus voice, but he does not know why.

•

Hears Jesus’ voice and listens to messages about God and His kingdom.

He does not

know that is what he’s doing, but he is.

•

Hears Jesus’ voice and picks up a Bible and looks at it, perhaps reads through various

scriptures or falls in love with various stories.

He does not know that God is forming

in him a love for His word.

•

Hears the gospel, but does not know what it means, just as the physical prenatal child

hears his mother’s voice, but does not know it is his mother.

•

Attends church or a revival service.

He is not yet born again, but he is exercising his

spiritual lungs, getting ready to breath in life eternal

•

With each Holy Spirit inspired event in his life, his prenatal life grows and matures,

moving toward delivery into eternal life.

There are troubling things occurring to physical prental children and scripture suggests

nothing else but that if their lives end prematurely they are carried straight to the throne

of Grace.

There is not such promise for the spiritually unborn if they die before they

come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The Lord gave me this object lesson:

Imagine a salt shaker and a bag of popcorn.

Popcorn smells and then looks delicious as it pops, it taste delicious … salty … crunchy

…satisfying.

In Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus says we are salt and light. In Colossians 4:6 Paul said, “Let

your conversation be always full of grace seasoned with salt so that you may know how

to answer everyone.

Popcorn seasoned with salt is a tasty snack. If you allow seasoned popcorn to illustrate a

message for prenatal children, you find that speaking the truth in love about them is

good…seasoned with the truth of Christ.

But so often, something else happens; our

desires come into play.

Our emotions

rise and we add a little more salt (truth) about the

plight of prenatal children. We pen or forward enflamed letters and emails; We corner

people in the market and tell them our concerns.

(With each concerned action I add a

little more salt to my popcorn.)

We make up flyers or buy them from an ordering house

and pass them out.

We join ourselves into groups.

We gather in parking lots.

We raise

our hands and our voices.

We pull together our hands into fists and pump our arms into

the air.

We make large signs and sometimes place pictures of butchered children on them

(all the while salting the popcorn).

And then we extend this message to our receivers and

if they have been watching all along (which many do) they are instantly repelled by the

message knowing it is too salty.

But then there are they who did not see all the salting, so

they take the message and the moment it touches their tongues they are

burned…hurt…blistered by our message…and perhaps some believe our fervor and take

in a mouthful of our message and find themselves poisoned.

(Have mercy).

Remember that God’s word teaches us that things on earth are but a shadow of things in

eternity (Colossians 2:17 and Hebrews 8:5).

This object lesson is just a shadow of the

things we are doing to promote what we think is “pro life.”

This is not the end of the popcorn object lesson, but I can not being this to an end before I

extend the balm of Gilead who is Christ Jesus and His mercy because for some the end of

the popcorn object lesson is very irritating.

So if you are irritated by it, please take of this

perfect balm which will soothe your chaffed heart.

You see …as it turns out, one of the

primary methods of physical abortion, particularly in older prenatal children is salt

poisoning. What if the audience took up and ate the overly salty popcorn?

They would

get sick…they might even die of spiritual salt poisoning.

Remember Christ 2 Timothy

2:8.

It is time to give this presentation to anyone who will listen.
