Programme Progress Report JRC Ispra July-December 1980 Thermonuclear Fusion Technology Abstract The activity carried out at JRC Ispra in the second half 1980 on Thermonuclear Fusion Technology is outlined. This activity is organized in form of four projects: - Reactor Studies - Blanket Technology - Materials Sorting and Development - Cyclotron Operation. In the area of Reactor Studies the effort has been concentrated in the support to the INTOR (International Tokamak Reactor)/NET(Next European Tokamak) Studies. The folllowing aspects have been investigated: - System integration and reactor mechanical layout - First wall and non breeding blanket (in-board positions) - Breeding blanket (out-board positions) - Divertor channel and plate.
