flm. If I had a choice between watching a musical and cleaning

I have two favourite musicals –
3fiddLeR on The Roof and oLiveR.
I didn’t see them at the theatre
though, only on TV. I don’t like
the theatre or musicals
normally, but I liked these two.
I wonder why. Maybe because
the themes are serious, not like MaMMa Mia, which
is just for fun.

I really enjoyed high SocieTy. It’s a romantic
comedy about two young women who realise
they were exchanged when they were born.
One is rich and the other isn’t. The clothes are
beautiful and the actors are so talented. I would
love to be able to sing like them!

My favourite musical of all time is La La Land,
for two reasons. Firstly, I am Ryan Gosling’s
biggest fan. Secondly, the music is beautiful,
the actors are excellent and the story is compelling. I have seen
the flm three times. I even have ‘City of Stars’ as my ringtone
on my telephone!
