BECKER COUNTY NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT on DRAFT of  PROPOSED 2010‐2011 BECKER  MFIP/CCSA BIENNIAL SERVICE AGREEMENT Becker County invites you to comment on the draft of the proposed 2008‐09 Becker County Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)/Children and Community Services Act (CCSA) Consolidated Fund Biennial Service Agreement for the period January 1, 2010 – December 31, 2011.  th         Comments are due by October 9 , 2009.         See below for specific instructions on submitting comments. Background  The Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) and the Children and Community Service Act (CCSA) Require Minnesota counties to submit a two‐year service agreement to the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) in order to receive these funds.   Several years ago, DHS combined the requirements for MFIP and CCSA funds into a single Biennial Service Agreement format.  “[T]he primary purpose of the service agreement and the consolidated funding model is to achieve stated outcomes and work towards the goals of economic stability for poor families  under MFIP and keeping children safe and improving their well‐being under CCSA. “[DHS Bulletin #07‐68‐11]  Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)  Becker County’s MFIP Consolidated Fund plan describes the employment needs of adults on MFIP and identifies the service strategies designed to meet those needs ...
