Proteus product on display is the only Wi-Fi implem entation that truly leverages the capabilities of programmable DSPs.
Antcor, S.A., an industry pioneer of 802.11 Intellectual Property, today announced that it will showcase at CES 2013 Proteus, a Wi-Fi 802.11ac IP onCEVA-XC DSP Core. During the upcoming CES show to be held atLas Vegas fromJanuary 8-11, 2013, Antcor's Proteus demonstration (demo) will be hosted at CEVA's suite 28-115 at the LVH. Invitees can see a live demo of the Proteus and meet with Antcor's top executives.
The Proteus demo will show a single stream 802.11ac transmitter and receiver, implemented on CEVA-XC D SP core delivering up to 433 Mbps throughput.

The configuration of Proteus on the CEVA-XC supports up to 4x4 MIMO and speeds up to 1.7 Gbps, enabling the next generation Wi-Fi access points, home gateways and Small cells. Implemented primarily in DSP-softw are and with minimal hardware acceleration, the Proteus offers a unique combination of performance, flexibility, and scalability.
