The journal will only publish case reports which are authentic, understandable, educational, clinical, and interesting to an international audience of respiratory physicians, trainees and researchers in all respiratory subspecialties, as well as clinicians in related fields. Barbara Yawn, Editor-in-Chief of the journal, said of the launch, "I am delighted to be working as editor of this new journal. We have been receiving many high quality case reports toRespiratory Medicineand we now have the ability to publish more of these important case studies."
