Greenberg Traurig Hosts Israeli Business Delegation as Part of Gateway USA: Defense & Homeland Security Program PR Newswire TYSONS CORNER, Virginia, Nov. 2, 2012 -- Three-Day Visit Geared to Help Israeli Companies Navigate the Federal Government Contracting Process TYSONS CORNER, Virginia, Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and the Virginia Israel Advisory Board co-sponsored the Gateway USA: Defense & Homeland Security program, which educated Israeli companies with respect to government contracting opportunities for various branches of the U.S. government. The program also helped familiarize them with the federal procurement process and introduced them to potential teaming partners. After completing the program, several of the companies participated in the annual Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Conference in Washington, D.C. to demonstrate their products and services with prospective customers and business partners. The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and several other government services businesses also hosted meetings with the Israeli companies to introduce them to the Northern Virginia area and government contracting space. The participating Israeli companies had been selected from a substantial pool of qualified applicants after a comprehensive screening process that commenced in the firm's Tel Aviv office in August.
