The World Series events by Renault at Hockenheim, Silverstone and Barcelona, the Autobrocante in Lohéac and indeed the European Heritage Day in Flins, will all provide us the opportunity to get together once again.What is more, six vehicles from the Renault Collection Renault will also be on show at the Paris 2010 Motor Show. The Heritage Department NEWS5th JuneAutodrome Heritage Festival, an action-packed day Boosted by the success of the 2009 event, the Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry was bathed in magnificent sunshine as it played host to a large number of collectors for the second time running at the Autodrome Heritage Festival. The event was organised by the UTAC in partnership with the three French automotive manufacturers, Renault, Peugeot and Citroën. There were almost 800 vehicles present. There were a number of different events on the agenda, including track sessions, a big parade and around 80 car brands and 50 motorcycle brands on show. The icing on the cake was an aerial demonstration, much to the delight of the young and not-so-young.At the Renault Histoire & Collection stand, enthusiasts were able to admire the magnificent DG type, known as the Victoria Rothschild, a Dauphine 1093 and a Renault 8 Gordini, along with drivers who have helped to contribute to the “diamond brand’s” fame, including Alain Serpaggi, Jean Pierre Jaussaud, Jean Vinatier, Michel Leclère, and Emmanuel Guigou, who drives a Clio Renault Sport R3 Maxi in the French rally championship. th The third Autodrome Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday 4June 2011.5th/6th JuneThe “Locomotion en fête” Festival,honouring the ColoraleThe Cerny-La Ferté-Alais aerodrome this year played host to nearly 1,500 vehicles for the 18th annualLocomotion en fête event,one of the biggest gatherings of vintage commercial vehicles in Europe. One of the main themes was the 60th anniversary of the Colorale. There was also a display of miniature vehicles, posters and photos of Renault’s heritage stock. Last but not least, there was a gathering of over 35 models, organised by the Colorale Club, giving visitors the chance to discover the various 4x4, Prairie and Savane versions.
