Canon Pat writes on.....
Our posture during the Eucharistic Prayer.
We
will stand for the whole prayer and for the Lord's Prayer.
When we pray
the rite on page 230, the congregation might kneel for the prayer of
humble access on page 246.
As always, if the posture of the community
is difficult for you, please adopt a more comfortable posture.

Our rector, Canon Pat
is on a short sabbatical from the parish. She is
undertaking some different educational and spiritual opportunities. At
present, Pat is on a pilgrimage in France. She looks forward to some
family activities in June and to a retreat/program at the St. John the
Divine Convent in Toronto in July. Pat has been an Associate of the SSJD
order for more than 25 years and she looks forward to spending time with
the community. After family holidays with Jamie and Simon in August,
she’ll be ready for all the St. Matthew’s fall activities!
