Invitation to the Dance

was held in aid of charity towards Id-Dar Tal-Providenza and took place at the

Mediterranean Conference Centre on Sunday 11

th

of November 2007 under the patronage of the Minister of

Culture.

The show was a live symphonic band concert by the

May Band

of Zebbug conducted by Maestro

Hermann Farrugia Frantz, with special appearance by a group of performers from

“Ballet Russe de Malte”

: a cast

of students from the

Olivia Dow School of Russian Ballet

of Naxxar.

Olivia Dow wishes to thank her all the

performers, including her Teachers, who despite their academic hours had strived hard and managed not only with

the rehearsals but also with their ballet lessons, in particular they had remained focused on their ballet

examinations which were held at the beginning of November prior to the show.
