GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT VARENNA, MENAGGIO AND BELLAGIO ACCOMMODATION We have contacted (see list below) some hotels in Varenna and Menaggio and asked to keep a block of rooms for our workshop until a limit date. Note that each hotel has a distinct reservation-deadline date (where indicated). The rule is “first come first served”. When making reservation in these hotels you must indicate the code ATW-FAFCCP and the title of the conference (Fundamentals of Aerodynamic Flow and Combustion Control by Plasmas). Take into account that some hotels may not be open yet for the tourist season and you will get an answering machine if you will phone; nevertheless, they accept reservations by e-mail as from now. Other hotels (but we have not contacted them) in Menaggio and Bellagio are listed at - Menaggio (the numbers correspond to the map below) - Bellagio May is a busy tourist period on Como lake. Do not wait until the last moment to make your room reservation! Varenna, Menaggio and Bellagio are connected by ferryboats. Information is available at follow “orario in versione pdf” at bottom-left corner and click appropriate link (traghetto=ferryboat). Take into account that the timetables for the summer period will be updated shortly before the end of March. We have been preliminarly informed that ferryboats run until late in the evenings in the tourist season.
