9 1. THE REAL PROJECTIVE PLANE §1.1 The Real Affine Plane The Euclidean Plane involves a lot of things that can be measured, such as distances, angles and areas. This is referred to as the metric structure of the Euclidean Plane. But underlying this is the much simpler structure where all we have are points and lines and the relation of a point lying on a line (or equivalently a line passing through a point).

Internet usage is rapidly growing, last pass years, and with it is growing usage of internet financial services. Current financial/banking internet solutions are mostly windows based, and each bank has it's own. This results in vast amounts of money spent on developing and maintaining separated systems.
This is where we come in with “SERBS”.
“SERBS” is a unifie, clou base, financial an banking solution capable of having all kins of esktop and mobile platforms as client applications.
Using our solutions services financial institutions will eliminate any need for developing and maintaining it's own banking solution.
We will offer this software to any company whose main activities are any kind of financial activities.
As we se it, there are few major groups of potential clients:
Banks
Stock exchange offices
Insurance companies
...
We will develop a core pack that will target all of those groups, and client applications specific for one or more types of financial transactions.
We would not sell our system to our clients. We just sell them our systems services, and that is the main benefit for our customers. They don't need to have their own system to maintain. There is only one system that every financial institution is using, and that is our system.
Customers will, however, be offered with different kinds of service packages, so that package they get could fit their and their customers needs.

With our solution we offer, to our clients, services of hosting, maintaining and further development of their online banking and financial services.
Since this project tries to unify all of the financial entities, we have, in one place, every single business data and therefore we could offer eventual business analysis. Technology is Cloud based, which means that it's not concentrated in only one geographical point, but it acts as a single system. Why is that important? It's important because of data consistency. If, for an example, one of the network nodes dies, the rest of them remain active. Since data is spread amongst all of the nodes, 100% of operability stays active. Why? Because there are always at least three nodes doing the exact same thing and having the same data. It might look more expensive than the usual way of running this king of systems, but it is actually cheaper. By using virtualization technology, we use one single physical machine as a few of virtual ones, thus using the maximum of hardware usage. One machine in one location could act as, for an example, three network nodes. Another physical machine, at the other geographical location, could be a backup copy of that machine, so that way instead of using 6 physical machines, we use only 2, and that way we save money. Also, since now there will be only one system to maintain, our system, less people would be needed to maintain it. Currently every institution has their own system and people to maintain it. Since we merge everything in only one unified system, need for employees becomes much smaller.
There are a lot of services that would be offered to our potential clients. Beside of using the base system itself, which will ensure their data security and consistency, we could offer modules for their users to interact with the system.
For an example, if our client is a bank, we could offer client applications so that banks clients could make money transfers, check account balance, etc. But, the best thing for the end user here, is that he/she could use this system on any kind of device he/she wants. They are not limited only to Windows based PC. They could use it on Mac, Linux, Moblie phones (sms banking), Smartphones, Tablets, etc.

The project involves several partners from different countries and intends to provide support for multiple activities involving a number of researchers and students from different organizations. Therefore, coordination and management of the project are of paramount importance. The basic project management approach for the project is to have a scientific coordinator focus on the technology and to have an administrative coordinator handle the overall operational and day-to-day business. A clearly defined project management structure will be set up, including precise management processes and decision rules. This will ensure that the project meets its objectives and delivers the results in time and with high quality

As we are looking to sell our systems services, primary goal of marketing is to build a positive image around products and services we have to offer. Sales come after that. Our potential buyers are financial companies, and as such are a very specific group that has to be targeted in a special way. Billboards and TV promotion do not seem like a profitable way to advertise, cost-benefit wise. In the next section we will describe our marketing plans in the terms of 4Ps.
Product
We offer a core service of system usage and an extended version that will have additional client applications that our clients could pass for their clients, additional modules for core system, different packages of hosting space and system performance.
Price
Core application projected priceabout 100.000,00 USD with taxes; Upgraded full version projected priceabout 500.000,00 USD with taxes; Other package combination varies depending on exact clients needs.
Place
Our marketplace will be online, since there is no product shipping and installation in our customers quarters, and the benefits are that there is no need to pay any customs, you can get your product at any time, without any need to wait. Product placement through internet is also much easier for the company as we only need to purchase servers but eliminate the need of recreating extra personnel for that task.
Promotion
Promotion will be divided into 5 segments:
Constant striving to havea top quality prouct so it can “speak” for itself;
Testing by partner companies, they will have the “privilege” to try our proucts first, as such they will help us improve our products and later on recommend us to other interested parties by “wor of mouth” marketing (viral);
Advertisement in civil banking and financial magazines, on related web sites, fairs and conferences;
Approaching writers from reputable magazines to write articles about us;
Presenting on fairs, directly approaching customers.
