Brands
Audemars Piguet
Audemars Piguet began in 1875 when Jules Audemars, then 23, and
Edward-August Piguet, 21, met in the Valle de Jous looking for jobs in
the local watchmaking industry. Audemars was the watchmaker in
charge of production, and Piguet took charge of sales and marketing.
Successful from the beginning, the Audemars Piguet trademark was
registered in 1882, and the firm was officially founded later in 1889.
Today, Audemars Piguet is the oldest Manufacture still owned and operated by its founding
families.
Ulysse Nardin
Ulysse Nardin was founded in 1846 and, over the next 150 years, the
watchmakers had received 18 gold medals and more than 4,000
other awards for their technology and craftsmanship. The company is
noted for maintaining close relationships with the top scientists and

Hublot
Hublot's creator, Carlo Crocco, grew up in an Italian family of watchmakers.

and incorporated both polished and brushed metal on a black rubber
bracelet. This was the first watch in the history of watchmaking to have a natural black
rubber bracelet.
IWC
The International Watch Company (IWC) is a Swiss company, founded
by an American. Florentine Jones made the decision in the 1860s to
establish a manufactory in Switzerland. In so doing, he was able to
take advantage of the Swiss watchmaking expertise and lower wages
of the workers. Jones was not well-funded, however, and he
eventually had to give up control of the company. Over the years, the
company changed ownership many times and experienced a veritable
roller-coaster of success and failures. Today, however, the IWC is a
strong participant on the world stage of luxury timepieces.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre company was born in the Swiss Jura
Mountains in 1833. Since their inception, they have maintained a
