Introduction

This Document written will help improve some of the shortcomings of the CRT
France SS-6900-V3-A or Anytone AT-5555-V3

11-10m band Multi-mode transceiver, especially for use in UK and EU states
where narrow fm 10khz spacing system is used more wildly.

FM Clipper corrected waveform and helps improve audio punch on
narrow 2.00khz Deviation Max FM CB EU 10Khz spacing use OR…
2.20khz Deviation Max FM UK40\HAm 12.5Khz spacing system use

Extended Audio Frequency Roll-Off on Transmission -for a brighter
transmitter modulation/The roll-off response is now around 4Khz.

FM receiver Detector- Audio gain recovered- has been increased to detect
fm deviations levels at the correct 60% deviation level for 10khz spacing FM
system. A full 5.5V RMS MAX audio into 8ohm load can now be obtained at
60% deviation.

Wider Filter for FMLT455GW-+/-4.5Khz 9.0Khz filter

RSSI-S-meter improved-less bouncy and smoother response, also helps the
CSQ detector

18Amp DC regulator upgraded and Internal Heat sink to keep cooler 15W
FM

DC ripple capacitor replaces stock one-now 4700uF 25V DC

Am\SSB agc overload improvements.

SSB IF gain and distortion improvements

RF gain and improved front-end protection and strong signal handling

Improvement of ASQ sensitivity as per V6 PCB

Improved Alignment of radio suited for EU\UK CB markets\operation.

New stock 600ohms fist microphone Moonraker CM-500U

*NEW-Fixed FM power 25W Max fixed
AM 6.5W Carrier (Variable) Max 25W PEP@90% Am modulation.

It was noted that at nearly maximum RF gain a glitch on the pot increases sensitivity,
while not a big issue, once past the maximum level gain drops to standard factory
sensitivity and is fine.

FM ASQ Improvements to V6 version

Check R242-180K change to
120K 0603 SMD 1% 0.1W Resistor 1 off RS 213-2547

Check R240 value is 104K
Set W1 for minimum sensitivity off around 0.15uV PD

Improved Microphone

A much-improved microphone was sourced, that gave excellent sound quality and low
cost replacement pre-wired.

Modifications- Out the box Factory Fresh units

Before commencing please check that radio function correctly and no apparent factory
faults present.

Function switches work (band-move internal link to test)
RF power OK
RX sensitivity in all modes meets specs.
Check TX SSB that no carrier leakage.
Ensure voice Transmits and RX receives OK
Check all knobs and switches function and no shafts bent on knobs and channel
selector\mode\band switch.

These test ensure no factory faults before breaking seals and any warranty!
I would highly recommend testing each radio before hand to ensure no problems
or faults exists prior to modifying from bitter experience!
