Q T4!C7 $27 !$ 5 May 2006 CMBA On the Level www.cmbaonline.org Welcome May! Jeff Brekken, Titan Construction of MN, Inc. Welcome to May!!! Hopefully this month finds you people that will be able to attend. This event will be all busy within the entire building industry. The first June 14th at Wilson Park in St. Cloud, 5:30 p.m. to few months of 2006 seemed to be down 10-15% for dark. The picnic is open to all CMBA members and new homes, but I would look for this market to their employees, and families. This has always been a again construct around 1,000 new units. great get together for families as there are always games and prizes for kids of all ages. I would also like to take this time to mention that Mike Gohman is now looking for your contribution We have had a great start to our new volunteer to Builders Association of MN Political Action drive. To date we have had 28 new volunteers for Committee (BAM-PAC). This program plays an various committees within the CMBA! Please important role in building relationships and support remember that we would like to hit 35 new volun- within the building industry. BAM-PAC is the MN teers by the end of the summer so that those new political action committee that allows us to support volunteers can get started as soon as possible within candidates who share our housing concerns on the the committees. There are some great things state level. Without a strong PAC, BAM would not happening within the CMBA right now, have a complete and effective government affairs remember, the more you get active within the program. BAM-PAC is strength in numbers. The CMBA, the more you will get in return from your more members who support our PAC, the stronger time invested. our clout is in the political process to elect pro-builder and pro-business candidates to office. I would like to thank everyone that attended and BAM-PAC is our means to promote our interests stayed for the entire April General Membership concerning issues such as building codes, licensing, meeting. I know it did get to be a bit long; Babe home warranty law, zoning/planning measures, Winkelman is a very passionate speaker about the impact fees-development exactions; workers fishing industry. The one major point Babe made compensation, transportation and infrastructure that night was that while you are outdoors this costs, affordable housing, etc. Please contact Mike summer, enjoy it and if you can, share it with your at W. Gohman Construction Company on how you kids. The smiles you get in return from them are can contribute 320.363.7781. priceless! If you have not received the 2006 CMBA Golf With that, I would like to tell you to stay tuned to Outing registration form in the mail yet,
