ISSN 1013-3402 Consumer price index PRICES : EU ANNUAL INFLATION AT 3.3% IN JUNE The annual inflation rate for EUR 15 was 3.3% in June, after 3.2% in May (revised figure) and 3.3% in April and March. A year ago, in June 1994, it was 3.2 %. Inflation in the EU as a whole has now been fairly stable for 3 years : from July 1992 to June 1995 it was between 4% and 3 %. From May to June the monthly CPI for EUR 15 rose by 0.2%. There was a sharp rise of 0.9% in the Greek index; all other Member States reported low to moderate increases ranging from 0.1% to 0.5% and even some decreases. Note : The results for Denmark and Austria were not available at the closing date of this report. They have been estimated by Eurostat in order to compile the EUR 15 index.
