PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Basic Use:CertaPro Partition Batt 1 Insulation is a 1/ 2 ” thick fiber glass blanket used in commercial construc- tion for acoustical and thermal insula- tion in shaft and partition walls. Benefits:This product enhancesther- mal performance and acoustical prop- erties. It is also lightweight, easy to han- dle, cut and install. Also, the product resists bacteria and fungal growth and will not rot or deteriorate. CertaPro Partition Batt insulation is cost-effective and compression packaged for efficient handling. Composition and Materials:This product is made from inorganic glass fibers bonded with a thermoset resin to form a uniformly textured, yellow blan- ket insulation. 5. INSTALLATION CertaPro Partition Batts are designed to fill the entire stud cavity and be held in place by friction until the interior finish is applied. For applications where the wall is not finished on both sides or the insulation does not fill the cavity, supplementary support of the insulation, such as wire or insulation pins, should be provided to hold the insulation in place.These instal- lation recommendations are general in nature. Other methods are acceptable. Please consult your contractor for recom- mendations best suited to specific appli- cations. Check local code requirements.
