OF THE MINUTES OF THIS WORKING CONFERENCE
The minutes of this working conference on accelerator
targets for neutron generation are presented in their original form
as taken dov/n during the discussions.
It has, however, been necessary to modify various question-
and-answer sequences as a result.of certain corrections made by the
authors during compilation of the final text. Nevertheless, the
sense and scope of the discussions remain unchanged.

The organizers wish to express their sincere thanks to the
authors for returning the corrected versions within the time
requested, thus ensuring speedy publication of these proceedings.
The organisers are particularly grateful to all those whose
efforts enabled this two-day programme to be carried out entirely
successfully, notably the interpreters, the sound-recording tech­
nicians, the typists and the staff of the Information and
Documentation Centre, thanks to whom it has been possible to issue
this report with a minimum of delay.
