The CORDIS Menu System Directorate-General Telecommunications,
Information Market and Exploitation of Research
TheS Menu System provides an on-line search facility
suitable for users who are new to CORDIS, or who are
inexperienced in command line searching. In spite of Its
deceptive simplicity the menu system offers many of the
features of the CCL, Including the facility to create complex
search profiles, and to order publications on-line, when using
the RTD-Publications database.
THE CORDIS MENU SYSTEM
Unique to the menu system is the option provided in the RTD-
News Database to select current records only, for browsing.
Apart from SIC codes, which can be searched using either the CORDIS Quick Reference Guide
code or the text expansion, coded fields generally can be
searched only by terms contained in the text expansion.
These terms can either be typed in, or selected from a
displayed list.
