E-Z Audit On-Demand User’s Guide Copyright © 2011 ATConsulting LLC WHAT’S NEW – READ ME FIRST! There have been quite a lot of changes for the better which mean changes in how you use On-Demand. If you are an existing user upgrading, this is especially important information. 1) There is now only one module to copy to your server, ondemand.exe. The odstart.exe module is no longer used or necessary. If you currently use On-Demand, delete ondemand.exe and odstart.exe from your server folder and replace it with the new ondemand.exe module. 2) You do not need to launch ondemand.exe with a command line switch containing the configuration file name, just run it as a simple command line: \\servername\folder\ondemand.exe You can now choose what configuration file to run directly from the On-Demand admin console! That way you can have multiple configurations to meet particular needs. A good example would be a configuration just to audit servers. 3) The On-Demand admin console now gives you immediate results when showing you available PCs to audit. There is no 60-second delay waiting for available PCs to respond. 4) You can stop all running instances of On-Demand at your users PCs right from your desk at any time. This is especially useful if you need to update the ondemand.exe module or if there is some other circumstance where you want to shut down On-Demand.
