1. Your personal SMAKids Site

Below you can see the sample homepage for your own personal SMAKids Site. On the next few pages we will explain how to set up your site and how to add your own content.

5. Edit Content of Post and Pages through the Editor Toolbar Get familiar with the basic tools to edit posts and pages: Add an Image Linking Text Editing  Text

6. Categories Edit or add your categories. Keep the category titles short and relevant. e default setup already has two categories. e latest posts of these two categories are featured on the home- page. Feel free to change the category names and add new ones.

7. Add Images to Posts and Pages Place your courser where you want the image to be placed in the editor when editing a post or page and then press the Add an Image button in the Toolbar.

For posts that will be featured in the Homepage Slider you need to select a featured image to show in the slider. Please click this link of chosen image.

Fill out these fields: Image Title optional for SEO Add a caption if you like optional for SEO

add a URL if you would like your image to link to a page or site Chose image alignment Chose image size

8. Pages To add and edit pages on your site you simply go to the Pages Menu. e Editor Toolbar is the same as for Posts (see page 4). To order your pages in the navigation bar add numbers in the Order field.

10. Gallery To add a gallery of images to a page or post follow the below steps: 10.1. Go to the Add a new gallery Tab:

Select Add new gallery

10.2.  Upload images to the created gallery:

10.3.  Manage/Edit your gallery:

Click Add gallery

insert gallery name

select gallery

click on gallery

To add captions to the images go to Manage Gallery and see below:

10.4.  Add a gallery to a Post or Page:

Simply place your cursor where you want the gallery to be displayed and click on Insert a Gallery in the Toolbar.

Select the gallery and select Show as “Image list”

Finally Update your Page or Post.
