In the warning of the annual town meeting of the town of Windham, called for October 5th, the fifth1891, clause, inserted b}^ the selectmen on request of interested citizens, called upon the town to decide whether it would au- thorize an appropriation and appoint a committee to pro- vide for the proper celebration of the approaching bi-cen- tennial anniversary, Ma}^ 12th, 1892. As October 5th was the of the annualday town election, action upon the bi- centennial was postponed one week, or until October 12th. The town records show that on this latter date it was Voted—That James E. Hayden, John G. Keigwin, Ivlo3'd E Baldwin, Silas F. Loomer, Edwin E. Burnham, James E. Murray, John M. Hall, Thomas Kelley,J. Everett H Moulton, and E.
