In presenting an unpublished letter from the poet and man of letters Alexis Piron to his brother Jean, apothecary in Burgundy in the XVIIIth century, the authors call up the attractive personalities of these two personages and the one of their father : Aimé, apothecary and poet at the same time.
It seems possible to follow, in a big city of the XVIIIth century, the life-time of an apothecary shared between his profession and his participation in the town-council, and employing his leasure-time with poetry and sport (archery).
In the same time, the other son tried his chance with literature : poet, witty man, author of plays by taste and controvertist by necessity, he had many enemies and his life was a long struggle.
Indem sie einen nicht herausgegebenen Brief von dem Dichter und Literat Alexis Piron an seinen Bruder Hans, Apotheker im Burgund im achtzehnten Jahrhundert, kennen machen, rufen die Autore die angezogene Gemütsarte dieser Personen und derjeniger ihres Vaters : Aimé, Apotheker und Dichter zusammen war. Es ist für uns möglich den Leben eines Apothekers in einem grossen Stadt im achtzehnten Jahrhundert zu betrachten, welcher unter seinen Beruf und seine Teilnahme an dem Stadtleben verteilt wurde, indem er seine freie Zeit an der Dichtung und dem Sport (Bogenschiessen) widmete.
Mit dieser pharmazeutischen Tradition zusammen, versuchte der andere Sohn sein Glück in der Literatur : er war ein Mann von Geist, schreibte germ Theaterstücke ; er musste aber Polemiker werden, was ihm viele Feinde verursachte und deshalb war sein Leben ein langer Kampf .

Abstract
