The Pharmacy in Romania in the Time of the Enlightenment.
Enlightenment represents, to the Romanian history of pharmacy an important evolutionary phase which is remarkable by important reforms and achievements. These were brought about as well in the field of legislation, as in that of the modem organisation of the pharmacy in Romania. These reforms resulted in the foundation of new pharmacies, their internal organisation, the obligation on the part of apothecaries, and foundation of the Pharmaceutical Association in Bucarest. In this period the activity of a pleiad of native Romanian apothecaries war carried on and appeared works of pharmaceutical interest.
