Introduction OZURDEX 700 micrograms, intravitreal implant in applicator Box of 1 sachet with applicator (CIP: 494 071-1) Posted on Mar 19 2013 Active substance (DCI) dexamethasone Ophtalmologie - Nouvelle indication Progrès thérapeutique modéré dans la prise en charge de l’inflammation non infectieuse du segment postérieur de l’oeil OZURDEX a désormais l’AMM dans l’inflammation du segment postérieur de l’oeil de type uvéite non infectieuse.Il s’agit d’un implant intra-vitréen de dexaméthasone à effet prolongé, sans conservateur. On ne dispose pas d‘expérience sur des administrations répétées de cet implant dans cette indication. Toutefois, une nouvelle administration peut être envisagée.Il représente un progrès thérapeutique modéré dans la prise en charge de l’uvéite non infectieuse du segment postérieur pour laquelle il n’existe pas d’alternative thérapeutique.
