Revue d'histoire de la pharmacie - Année 1975 - Volume 63 - Numéro 226 - Pages 451-457Sale and inventory of the pharmacy of the Minor College of Jesuits in Alcala de Henares. This work is devoted to study the inventory of the assets of the Pharmacy which the Jesuits had in Alcalá de Henares. That inventory was made by order of Count of Aranda in April 1767 due to the banishment of the Jesuit Company, and before the authorized judge D. Juan Ramirez de Orozco. The evaluation was affected by the apothecary Juan de Dios Gonzalez, of Alcalá de Henares. In the inventory are listed all the medicines of the pharmacy, as well as the price of each of them. The furniture and its characteristics, and the medicines and their containers are specied. The commercial relations of this pharmacy to French industries from Bayona, suppliers of the pharmacy, are also studied. The importance of this inventory relies on the value of its medicines and assets which amount to 11.451 reales and 30 maravedis. For the first time in the history of the Spanish Pharmacy appears the mention of this botica which belonged to the above mentioned religious Company. 7 pages Source : Persée ; Ministère de la jeunesse, de l’éducation nationale et de la recherche, Direction de l’enseignement supérieur, Sous-direction des bibliothèques et de la documentation.
