Si l'on distingue dans l'entreprise deux espaces, l'organisation du travail de production d'une part et le fonctionnement interne de l'entreprise d'autre part, il paraît possible d'affirmer qu'un décalage grandissant s'installe entre les deux. L'organisation du travail stricto sensu évolue assez peu, et reste régie par les principes tayloriens. Le fonctionnement interne de l'entreprise est plus orienté vers la recherche d'une meilleure gestion des interfaces, des interactions entre les différentes fonctions. Le rôle des exécutants au sein de ces deux espaces, passif dans le premier, participatif dans le deuxième, conduit à un véritable grand écart qui risque de poser de sérieux problèmes pour l'avenir.
The distinction between the organization of the firm production system and its internal management shows an increasing gap between these two com- ponents. On one hand, the organization of production work «per se» does not change much and remains ruled by the Taylorian principles. On the other hand, the internal operating order evolves towards the search of a better management of interfaces, of interactions between the different operating functions. The role of blue collars within these two components (passive in the first, participating in the second), may run into serious problems for the future.
