July - December 1979 Programme Progress Report JRC Ispra July- December 1979 Solar Energy Technologies Abstract The Solar Energy Programme is part of the Multiannual Research Programme 1977-1980 performed by the JRC of the European Communities. This Programme Progress Report is composed of two separate parts, the main report which is scientifically oriented and a summary which is directed towards non-specialized readers. The aim of the programme is to support European industrial development in solar energy and to carry out some exploratory studies. Project I : Habitat and Thermal Conversion (performance measurements of solar collectors, study of complete solar house systems, data collection, energy storage, high-temperature absorbers).
