November 2001 Rocket – Intermediate level 2  Educational Objectives of the Unit To learn further sketching, feature creation and assembly techniques in the context of a creating a cartoon style rocket. Performance Indicators Students will be able to: • design a new component in the context of an existing assembly. • edit sketches using the spline drawing tool. • use the revolve feature. • create a feature using the sweep tool. • recognize faults in sketches and features and how to correct them. • develop their own solutions to open-ended design challenges.
