At the regular weekly prayer-meeting the First Presbyterian Church ofWal-of nut Hills, on June Thos. McDougall7, made his report of the late General As- sembly held in "Washington, D. C, JVEr. McDougall said: Brethren—It myprivilegewas to attend the late General Assembly of our Church as a commissioner from this Presbytery. According to the custom of our Church, permit me to make report fol-to you as lows: The 105th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church held its sessions at Washington City, beginning Thursday, — May 18, at 11 A.M., and continuing daily, Sabbaths excepted, till Thursday, June 1, P.M., dulyat 10 when it was dissolved. Never having attended any other General IAssembly^ am unable, even if it were proper, tomake comparisons with the per- andsonnel dispatch of business of former Assemblies.
