In the e ectiv e approach, the -functions which governthe running of the parameters below the lowest see-saw scale in the Stan-dard Model, in Two-Higgs-Doublet Models and in the Minimal Super-symmetric Standard Model are calculated. Analytical formulae, whichallow to understand the running qualitatively and to a good approxima-tion also quantitatively, are derived and compared to numerical results.
