At most, by incorporating good values into its lyrics, our thesis is that rock music becomes most powerful vehicle for popular education of young and old alike, because of the attractiveness of music, and esp. rock music, as packaging for education.
Teaching great, often Christian type values, is one thing, seeing them implemented is an altogether different kettle of fish.
Will rock music ever be able to spread its values beyond the idealistic young? Will the power of love ever rule the world? Will rock music enable/empower us to solve the world’s problems? *
I don’t know the answer to these questions. But I do know that rock music, transformed my existence, into a life worth having. The inner world that opened up before my ears (and eyes), made me feel like a million bucks, and is the closest thing to heaven, ever to come my way! May we carry on this way, s’il vous plait!

I’d Smile for Me - For Sure! (true confessions) LoL!
I’d smile for me!
Once upon a long ago night, I only created molehill,
of mentally ill/facetious/clowning around, words, harmless in themselves,
the mountain (i.e. weather troubles) was NOT me (nor could I possibly foresee!),
It would not have gone beyond one night’s duration, were it not for a Powerful
Bad Being’s intervention, and escalation! Took it upon himself (100% responsibility)
to convert “innocent words” into “guilty actions”. A world of difference between
a) and b), you see, call it culpability!

Thank you Chris, are you my friend?
I was ill, please forgive me, let’s let, old wounds, mend! Words are nowhere a crime, Some
villain (d), acted upon them His choice/his responsibility, NOT mine!
He “took advantage” of my crazy/facetious night, really not very nice (of him)!
Would not let me take it back, then or ever!
So, he’s the mutual enemy of us both, NOT me, my friend!

Why would I smile for me?
I am a good (but imperfect) man and a reasonable guy,
And can put myself in those shoes of mine!
There but for the Grace of G, I, I’d see!
And so, innocence being innocence, and fair being fair,
I’d tell the whole world, loud and clear,
Amen, I AGREE!

Manna from Heaven
Manna from Heaven harkens back to ancient Israelite Biblical history at the time they were fleeing “slavery” in Egypt which had helt them in captivity 400 years. It took them across the “Red Sea” (which is said to have parted, i.e. opened up a dry pathway to give them “safe passage” to the other side) in their search for “The Promised Land” (which G. is said to have promised to the Patriarch of the Israelites, who was called Abraham). They were to search for a very long time, lost in the desert, before eventually finding it (led by Joshua), greatly reduced in numbers. The greatest problem facing the Israelites was how to feed themselves, where to find food. Remember, they found themselves in a barren desert, where nothing lived, neither plants nor animals. So, lack of anything to eat defined their “problem situation”. In the absence of a solution, they might likely have starved to death, or been forced to return to Egypt and captivity. What happened instead, that saved them from both of these dangerous alternatives? Mysteriously, they found food! It seemed to come out of nowhere, resembling coriander sized “snowflakes”, lying about on the ground. Some say that they actually saw it “falling from the skies” much like ordinary snowflakes. Others may have “attributed it” to falling from the heavens, because where else could it have come from, in a desert landscape bereft of all but sand as far as the eye could see? (Some revisionist scholars have wondered whether it could have been insect secretions). Whatever, the company of Israelites were astonished by the sudden appearance of this food, so much so that they were left speechless, and asked each other “What is this?”, (that’s where the word “manna” comes from, the literal translation of “manna” being: “What is this?”. They followed up with: “And where did it come from?”
Credence to the “falling from the skies” account, is garnered from a passage in which G. apparently promised just such an ongoing occurrence to Moses. That G. would feed the Israelite people using manna from heaven for as long as they found themselves in the “desert wilderness”. And, indeed, lo and behold, the little white snowflakes, that the Israelite people baked into wafers tasting of milk and honey, kept them supplied with food for the whole of the very long time that they found themselves in the “desert wilderness”.
In other words, the promise G. made to Moses, seems to have been kept: to feed the Israelite peoples for as long as they were in the desert wilderness and in need of feeding by the hand of G. A promise made, and a promise kept.
