Add only the full stops (.),exclamation marks (!) or questionmarks (?) to
the sentence or passage.
Full stop/Period: At the end of a sentence, usually the end ofstatements. Also
used at the end of abbreviations, e.g.Mrs.Smith
Exclamation mark: Use!to show strong emotion, e.g. surprise, fright, a
command, anger, excitement. Used at the end ofexclamationand
commandsentences.
Question mark: Use?when a question is asked. Lookout for these words at the

Beginning of a sentence and after a period/full stop- every sentence starts with a capital
letter.
Proper Nouns³ special names of people, places, books, magazines, towns, countries, days
of the week, months, films, planets, brands, company names, races, nationalities, religions,
special occasions, street names etc.³always start with a capital letter.
