The girl came into the world small,
but her spirit was big.
She looked up and saw the Moon. From where
the girl stood, it looked small, just like her. But she
believed that the Moon was bigger than it seemed.
And that
s where the girl wanted to be.
The girl gazed at the path before her. As far as
her eyes could see, the path was bare.
But just off to one side, in the distance,
the girl noticed a tree. It was so tall, it almost
touched the Moon.
The girl reached for
the nearest branch,
but it wasn
t near
enough. She jumped.
She jumped higher.
She wrapped her
arms and legs around
the trunk.
But nothing worked.
