Andy is a happy fifth grader who is daydreaming about his upcoming tenth birthday celebration. He has decided on a swim party and is planning to invite everyone from class.

When a note from a “secret admirer” appears in his backpack, things change in a cruel and unexpected way, and Andy no longer talks about his birthday party. Andy feels very sad and alone—but he won’t for long, as his friends, family, and teachers have a big surprise.
