Can We Have a Ride? Please
“Daddy, can we have a ride? Please.” his five boys pleaded. They were out in their house’s driveway, watching their Daddy on his new motorcycle.
Mommy had given him a new motorcycle as a present for their seventh anniversary.
“Daddy, please, oh, please, can we have a ride?” their boys begged.
“Okay, go get your bike helmets to wear. You each can have a ride, one at a time.” Daddy said.
His boys went running to find their bike helmets, in their bedroom.
“How to pick the boys’ ride order?” Daddy and Mommy said to each other.
It was decided they would select names. Daddy wrote on five little pieces of paper each boy’s name, for selecting the boys’ ride order. Mommy would pick the pieces of papers for the order.
Mommy told him to stop during the motorcycle rides at the Ice Cream Shop in town to buy each boy an ice cream cone along with
