and unforgettable adventure. To my family
for their support, enthusiasm and love.
To my youngest son for the inspiration for
this book, and his incredible ideas.

One clear fall night, the full moon illuminated James’s room as his mom tucked him into bed. The Binn family of five had moved across the country two weeks ago, and they were all still settling in.
“Does homesick medicine exist, Mom?” asked eight-year-old James, the youngest Binn child, as he peered out from under his yellow sheets. James’s mom called those yellow sheets “sleeping in sunshine.”
“Are you feeling homesick, James?” his mom gently asked.
“Sometimes I feel sad and miss my family and friends,” he replied as big tears rolled down his cheeks.
