When the scary coronavirus attacks the world, children fight back by washing their hands but also by social distancing, until the virus is no more.
Merle is a little girl who uses a magical box to travel the world and help children stay clean and healthy through one simple message: wash your hands. All is well until everyone learns about a virus traveling at the speed of light! The virus is called coronavirus, and it is very serious.
Merle’s magic box goes wild as children all over the globe call for help. They’re scared of getting sick but even more afraid of something happening to their nanas and papas. Merle manages to calm the kids down by sending a new message of social distancing.
Children can be superheroes by avoiding large gatherings like sporting events and sleepovers. They can use technology to talk to friends. Together, kids around the world work to take this virus down by practicing social distancing and always washing their hands! Merle the Traveling Girl is intended to help ease children’s fears about the coronavirus pandemic and teach them how to stay safe through healthy habits.
