Pearlescent the Pearl was created with the idea that God can take our pain and shape something of beauty out of it. When I began to study the life of a pearl and how it was created out of adversity, I wanted to get that idea across for children to see. Thus, the book shows God can create something good from our tough times. The book also directs the reader to the creative workmanship of God through nature and how a pearl is formed.
