Hi everyone!
My name is Leia and I am a rescue dog that was
adopted by my hooman Daniel Boey.
Sometimes, in the evening, I sit on Papa s lap
and ask him to tell me about all the other dogs
he used to care for before I came into his life.
He tears up whenever he talks about his late
dog Ah Hock. Losing Ah Hock was so painful
that he didn t have the heart and the courage to
adopt another dog for more than 30 years till
I walked into his life.
Papa knows that Ah Hock is now in a better
place, running through the fields across the
rainbow bridge, and waiting for Papa and me to
join him when it is time.
Each time I hear the story, I snuggle close to
Papa, and he hugs me tighter. And we promise
to look after each other for the rest of our lives.
I do hope all of you will enjoy the story of Buddy
and Zack, which is inspired by true stories that
Papa and I have heard. Big thanks and wet licks
