Description

A little silver and tan Yorkie was abandoned in the countryside on a cold January day. The veterinarian who checked him suspected he had spent most of his life in a wire cage. His behavior when he met all the other dogs at the clinic was unusual – he didn’t bark or pay any attention to them. Also residing in the Yorkie’s temporary home was Slinky, the cat, who clearly viewed the dog as an unwelcome trespasser. Follow Ziggy’s adventures as he is rescued and finds a home with Nigel, an over-the-road truck driver. Their travels take them from a pet store in Missouri, to sunny Florida, and north again to Illinois. Along the way, they meet interesting people and share exciting times together.
