Description

Think you might be too old to read this story? Completely wrong - and don't forget to tell your friends. Will the Famous Four, Evie, Harry, Ben and Cara, be able to save the day when a new teacher makes a desperate attempt to escape from their school on his first morning there? With school terms being mostly a blur into which they not only had to go to school, do their homework, care for their pets, commit to their sports and leisure activities, help their mums and dads, play with their friends, eat, sleep and wash (sometimes), it was always exciting to get to the last day before the summer holidays. Once again, they were especially looking forward to staying with their Uncle Slip and Aunty Belle, down at the coast in what they called smuggler country. They always had excellent adventures when staying with their uncle and aunty but what was happening down at the old jetty in the middle of the night and will the Famous Four get help just when they need it the most? Excitement, fun and adventures for all.

About the Author
Alan Douglas retired some years ago from engineering in the bulk liquid petroleum and chemicals industry. He is a widower and lives in Hampshire, UK. He enjoys daily walks along the countless number of cross-country footpaths and likes to soak up the atmosphere at numerous easily accessible ancient trackways, Iron Age hill forts and ancient burial grounds and monuments, all with their limitless powers for fuelling the imagination.
However, when he tells his cat, Jessie, about the places he has visited, he is convinced that she doesn’t have a clue as to what he is talking about.

If it wasn’t for the imaginary sounds caused by strong blustery winds, warping the noises being generated in the nearby school’s playing field, during the morning break, this story would not have been written. Thank you.
