Chapter l

THE SECRET

Not so long ago a little girl named Tracy lived with her brother, who was

named Colton, in a little wood house in a beautiful valley.

Every morning the birds woke them up by singing to them, just as

the sun was coming up.

On this particular day Colton awakened first and he shook his sister’s

arm and said,

“Wake up Tracy. I’ve got a surprise for you!”

Tracy jumped out of bed and pulled on her jeans, sweater and sandals.

She adored her big brother and hurried after him.
