A significant part of King Arthur’s legacy at Camelot was the Knights of the Round Table. The order of the knights was organized to defend the country and help people in distress.
Knights in Medieval Times Not all people have the opportunity to become a knight in the medieval period. Only those who were born to the families of barons, earls, dukes, or kings would have the chance to be chosen to become a knight.
They received great training for battle and they had the best armor and weapons among all the members of the king’s army. They were men of dignity, courage, and honor who fought for their country, went on dangerous quests, and protected damsels in distress.
